Komorniki - investment offer

The commune of Komorniki is situated in the close neighbourhood of Poznań and occupies an area of 66.5 square km. It borders on the Wielkopolska National Park, which makes it a very attractive area for tourism and recreation and a good place to live in. Its housing, industry, trade and services are developing rapidly.

The commune boasts ideal conditions for investments due to the policy of its authorities, a multitude of transportation routes and prospects for the construction of a motorway that will run across it. The commune authorities are open to all economic initiatives and spare no efforts to encourage investors to locate their enterprises in the area. Most towns have already prepared spatial development plans offering potential investors diverse areas for housing developments, business activities, sports and recreation. All administrative barriers have been done away with and the commune autho- rities guarantee that taking care of necessary formalities will not take a long time.

Amongst the companies that have recently invested in the commune of Komorniki are: Servisco, the Kruszgeo Mine, the Polish Post Office, the "Wirenka" Mineral Water Plant, Daewoo and Volkswagen dealerships. It is also where many European companies located their Polish branches including Hormann, Veissmann and Berthelsmann, whereas Auchan built a large shopping mall near an exit from the A2 highway.

The commune allocates considerable means to infra- structure, i.e. water supply, gas and sewage systems, which is of great importance for the real estate market. Moreover, a modern biological-mechanical-chemical water purification plant was built in Łęczyca.

The prices of land are relatively low since large areas are destined for development. A big housing estate covering 25 ha is currently under construction.

The authorities of the Komorniki commune are very optimistic about their future. No wonder, judging on the basis of a very consistent investment policy the commune should soon experience its beneficial results.
